Challenge: Some employees were unfamiliar with Google Slides and needed additional support creating and working with presentations. A clear, approachable resource was needed to help them become more comfortable using the platform and completing common tasks independently.
Solution: I created a step-by-step interactive guide that walks through the process of building a basic Google Slides presentation. Clear instructions and guided practice help people learn the essential features while creating an actual presentation as they work through the guide.
Result: The finished guide provides a practical resource people can use to build familiarity with Google Slides and create presentations using text, images, and video with greater confidence.
Design Decisions & Rationale:
I made several design decisions to keep the guide clear, practical, and easy to use:
Organized the content around the actual process of creating a Google Slides presentation
Broke the process into manageable steps for people unfamiliar with the platform
Incorporated text, images, and video so people could practice using common presentation features
Used guided practice to help people build confidence while creating a finished product
