Challenge: People who are unfamiliar with Gmail may be unsure how to navigate the inbox, search for emails, or locate older messages. A clear, approachable resource was needed to make these everyday tasks easier to understand and complete independently.

Solution: I created a step-by-step visual guide that breaks common Gmail tasks into simple, manageable actions. Clear instructions, consistent layouts, and visual cues help users quickly identify where to go and what to do.

Result: The finished guide provides a practical reference people can use to navigate their inbox, search for emails, and locate older messages with greater confidence and independence.

Design Decisions & Rationale:

I made several design decisions to keep the guide clear, practical, and easy to use:

• Organized the content around common Gmail tasks users are likely to perform

• Broke each task into manageable steps so information is easy to follow

• Used consistent layouts and selective highlighting to make important information easy to locate

• Kept instructions concise so users can reference the guide while completing a task
